Thank you to everyone that has expressed concern regarding the recent barn fire we had at Empower Youth. The good news is that no one was hurt and Peachie’s Place remained unharmed.
Many of you have asked how you can help support EY through this trying time and as we look toward the future and how to move forward we feel this is a good time to begin our “Build Back Better - Phase 1” campaign. While we do have insurance to cover the barn we will not be rebuilding it as it does not fit into the vision we have for expanding the EY property. That being said, insurance will not come close to covering the costs of building the new facilities that will be needed to grow and further our mission.
We hope you can support us in this new endeavor as we work toward building a better Empower Youth so we can serve more students in our community.
